TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE NATIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE AWARDS (NPMC & PMEA)
GENERAL TERMS
Eligibility: The NPMC and PMEA are open to all project management professionals, industry leaders, students, and interested individuals.
Specific eligibility criteria may apply for award nominations.
Registration: All attendees must register through the official conference website or registration link. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Payment: Payment for registration must be made in full at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include cash payment, bank transfer or Mobile Money Transfer and other payment options as specified on the invoice.
Code of Conduct: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Privacy Policy: Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purposes of organizing and managing the event. It will not be shared with third parties without consent.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS REFUND POLICY:
Full Refund: Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will receive a full refund.
Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 15 to 29 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
No Refund: Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event are not eligible for a refund.
Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, attendees must contact the conference organizers via the official contact channels provided on the conference website. The request must include registration details and the reason for cancellation.
Event Cancellation or Postponement: If the NPMC is canceled or postponed, registered attendees will be notified promptly. Attendees will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.
Transfer of Registration: Registrations can be transferred to another person. Attendees must contact the conference organizers to provide the details of the person to whom the registration is being transferred. Transfers must be completed at least 14 days before the event.
AWARD NOMINATIONS
Nomination Process: Nominations for the PMEA must be submitted through the official awards website. Detailed instructions and criteria for each award category are provided on the site.
Eligibility Criteria: Each award category has specific criteria that must be met. Nominations that do not meet the criteria will not be considered.
Judging Process: The judging process for the PMEA is conducted by a panel of experts in project management. The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
EVENT PARTICIPATION
Event Schedule: The event schedule, including session times and locations, will be provided to registered attendees. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary.
Virtual Participation: If virtual sessions are available, attendees will be provided with access details. Virtual participants are expected to adhere to the same code of conduct as in-person attendees.
Networking Opportunities: The NPMC offers various networking opportunities, including sessions, workshops, and social events. Attendees are encouraged to participate actively and professionally.
LIABILITY
Liability Waiver: The organizers of the NPMC and PMEA are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by attendees during the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.
Force Majeure: The organizers are not responsible for any failure to perform their obligations due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Content Use: All materials presented at the NPMC, including presentations and handouts, are the intellectual property of the respective presenters. Attendees may not reproduce or distribute these materials without permission.
Recording and Photography: The organizers may record sessions and take photographs during the event. By attending, participants consent to the use of their likeness in promotional materials.
