Albert currentlyis the Managing Director of at Seag Focus Ghana Ltd, a Construction Project Management firm in Ghana. As the Managing Director, he is responsible for the overall management of the firm. He is also a member of a team of professionals with responsibilities spanning from inception through to handing over of construction projects awarded to the firm. Albert has previously occupied the position of senior site superintendent on two community resettlement projects for Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd. at the BrongAhafo and Eastern Regions of Ghana.
He has also supervised a number of building and civil engineering projects including the following: Community services infrastructure project under the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) programme in Ghana, Community resettlement project for Gold Fields Ghana Ltd, Tarkwa, Demolition works and underground shaft rehabilitation works for Golden Star BogosoPrestea Ltd in Prestea. Others included earthworks, buildings, bridges, and drainage works, water supply, sewerage and electrification systems. His construction industry experience is invaluable for fit-for-context project planning as well as implementation.
Albert has over twenty (20) years of experience in construction engineering involving the supervision and management of civil engineering and building construction projects in Ghana and Equatorial Guinea. He has a good knowledge of various forms of contracts and agreements for civil engineering & building works. He is a member of the Institution of Technology and Engineering, Ghana (ITE), Ghana Institution of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP) and the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA).
Alberthas been a volunteer for the PMI Ghana Chapter since 2012. He is currently also a Chapter Conflict Resolution Volunteer Mediator at the PMI Global Operations and also the Client Relations Manager for Africa at Project Managers without Borders (PMWB). Albert is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and also holds a Master of Science in Project Management from the Robert Gordon University in Scotland.
